This is why you pay by credit card and pay in full for things over £100 as you could just get a section 75 refund from the credit card and get new glasses from a hopefully better optictions.

I’d add that you don’t have to pay in full on the credit card, and that Section 75 protection is also available if you use credit provided by the merchant.
