Not since then however I don’t think Monzo process the cheques. I might be wrong but I’m sure I read that another bank does it

Cheque processing: a bit slow?

I’m really sorry to hear about the delay For clarity here, we are not a member of the Cheque and Credit Clearing Company so we don’t process cheques ourselves and our processing time is not included in the 4 day period. Sadly it can take a while for cheques to reach us, particularly if they get posted over a weekend or bank holiday. Don’t forget to take into consideration that there is a ~£500 limit though so in this situation a cheque for £6k is too much.

Very true, I guess the only alternative is having a high-street bank and visiting a branch. It’s one of the things you just have to accept you’re not going to get when you bank with Monzo, but equally there’s nothing at all stopping you having an account with a high-street bank alongside Monzo.
