Hi I have followed usual prompts to activate monzo on new phone now stuck at verifying identity and as I use monzo as my main bank I have no access to my funds since all of my money is split into pots that I use daily.
I have done this in the past and usually the verification is near instant.
Unfortunately, you’re just stuck in a queue of log-in verification attempts that Monzo has to work through. This should only take 1-2 hours, but could potentially be longer depending on how busy Monzo is at the minute. I waited 1h45m recently, but I know people who have waited 2+ hours.
Unfortunately, Dylan, the community cannot really assist, We are bank members just like you. It is frustrating on a Sunday as the wait does seem to be longer than a weekday
But, I do hope you take a lesson from this and keep some cash in a separate bank account like Starling or HSBC or something like that
You can still spend without needing to be authorised in the app by the way, so you can still get to your money
