Monzo payment dates Scottish bank holiday august 3rd

Can anyone tell me if monies are due into your account via bacs on the 3rd and the 4th wether they will be available tomorrow at 4pm as usually in experience this has happend ? Dd are already showing for the 3rd

Whilst Iā€™m sure someone from Monzo will confirm this, I donā€™t think Monzo follows Scottish bank holiday dates. I could be wrong but as they are a bank based in England they follow the England and Wales bank holiday dates. As the Scottish Government states:

Banks in Scotland do not always close on Scottish bank holidays. For business reasons, Scottish banks tend to close on the same day as those in England and Wales.

And if itā€™s paid in by BACS, they donā€™t seem to follow Scottish Bak Hols for processing days.

So I would assume itā€™s a ā€œnormal dayā€ as far as BACS payments in are concerned

My money which is due on a Monday usually comes in Friday at 4 but today has cleared at 4 strange one

I think Scottish benefit payments are being paid tomorrow so would be claimable today at 4

Iā€™m Due A payment on Tuesday the 4th of August due to it bein a bank holiday Monday does this mean I will receive it on Friday the 31st of July. I am also worried as usually I see the upcoming payment in the grey but as yet it isnā€™t showing and I am due a payment on Monday so it should really be there. could it show up anytime up until 4pm when you are able to recieve it early. please someone give me some good news.

It is not a bank holiday in England and Wales on Monday. The Scottish government state:

Banks in Scotland do not always close on Scottish bank holidays. For business reasons, Scottish banks tend to close on the same day as those in England and Wales.

Some companies may decide to pay you early, but at @BritishLibrary stated in the other thread, the BACs system is scheduled on the bank holiday schedule for England and Wales.

You may receive it today if Monzo allow for Scottish bank holidays but I would presume it doesnā€™t as a bank based in England. Be surprised if it arrives to be taken today and expect it on Monday. Cases like yours are pretty new for us on the forums to be fair.

As above, itā€™s not a Bank Holiday on Monday so the bank and its payment mechanisms will be working as normal.

Hi Iā€™m due to be paid on Tuesday the 4th so should be able to take my money Monday 3rd but Monday is a bank holiday so I thought I would get it today. Itā€™s not showing in the app and Iā€™m supposed to be going away for a few days today so Iā€™m freaking out. Is this correct that if the day before is a bank on holiday you get it before that aka today?

No, Monday isnā€™t a Bank Holiday in England so Monzo will be open and processing things as normal. As a result, nothing will happen today.

Iā€™m due money Tuesday and sometimes it shows in grey today till Monday but unfortunately it isnā€™t so assume it will be Monday x
