Do other banks have limit-free no-fee payment processing that will let you get £2 from everyone frequently?

So eventually I get a response from a “specialist” who says my use of monzo.me has been temporarily suspended and would be resumed within a few days (which could be up to a week)… No further explanation was provided even though I asked for details… hmmm… Doesn’t bring a lot of confidence that , so I will see what happens…

Doesn’t it cost Monzo for every monzo.me transaction? I would imagine they would be happy to swallow the cost for infrequent use, but if you’re having 25-30 per week that could mount up.

Perhaps you could persuade the people involved to just do a bank transfer instead?

Why offer a facility if everyone is saying oooh that costs monzo… :triumph: If that is the case then it should be withdrawn… Drives me nuts…

I think it’s more likely they are investigating if this is a personal account or account for a club

A good idea but then they need to actually specify what abuse is. To some abuse may be more than once a month, to others it might be more than 50 transactions a day. Without that clarity there can be no abuse.

This reminds me of the overseas cash withdrawals. There will be a tipping point when Monzo will have to implement a rule about number of transactions per time period, or minimum amounts, or something, to avoid burning money to support the feature.

Yes and it has 0 limits and you can even do up to £99,999 at once.
