Monzo.me links don't prompt to open the app on Firefox for IOS

Issue:

Monzo.me links opened in Firefox on IOS (all versions I’ve tested including the latest) don’t prompt to open the Monzo app. If I open the same link in Safari, I get prompted. As Firefox is my default browser, I’d like this to work if it’s possible.

Details to reproduce:

Open a monzo.me link in Firefox on an iPhone.

OS:

IOS 17.0 and earlier.

Device:

iPhone

Monzo.me doesn't work in Firefox on OSX

Hey Monzo.me isn’t working for me on the latest version of Firefox, on the latest version of OSX. It might be to do with my user but I doubt it as it works in Safari. I get a “Sorry something went wrong” banner before entering the amount. 13" Macbook Pro, Retina display. Let me know if you need any more details.

Hey. Thanks for the reply. That’s not quite the same issue. In my case, the link works - it’s just missing the prompt to launch the Monzo app. And it’s on IOS not OSX.
