I have previously when living in UK but I closed it.

Your UK account may have never been fully deleted and there could be underlying UK data that hasn’t been unlinked from you that has caused you to be rejected. Would reach out Monzo support to make sure they’ve fully deleted your UK data as that can sometimes cause issues and you may be able to get in then. It’s a known issue

You could try email review@monzo.com and ask them if they can take a human look, explain you were with the UK bank and now live in Ireland, and wish to open an account there.

Thanks. I have reached out to Support and replied to say they are escalating to their engineers so fingers crossed this can be resolved.

If you’re in the waitlist you need to wait until the waitlist dwindles down to your number unfortunately. There’s no jumping the queue.

It shows that I have been on the number 19th since over a week and I was thinking maybe something is wrong because it was faster before it get to number 19th and since it got to 19th nothing change again

Try sending an email off to help@monzo.com as it could be a bug. Waitlist bugs have happened in that past for people in similar situations and they’ve ended up fixing them pretty quickly @Arabm90.

This isn’t the way. An email would’ve been received to say the account is open if that was the case.

I’m sadly stuck at 33 for the last 3 days. Even with extra successful referrals I made no jump. Happy the got there bump up the list though.

Seems like they’ve paused it for whatever reason. Perhaps some updates. Being on the waitlist won’t necessarily mean you’ll keep moving up steadily.
