I got invitation today signed up ordered the card Got €25 Monzo early access, topped up by Google pay and i have to say so far so good i really love it

Got invite
Signed up and created account. Waiting for card..
But I can’t use any other functionality like digital/virtual card to add to Google wallet and Apple wallet.
Also account I registered was personal and how to register for business account

Would remove or blur your address, I believe the not getting in till your card comes is usual and has also been reported by other Irish users

You need to wait for the card to arrive to gain access to the account. This is a security measure implemented by Monzo.
It doesn’t happen to everyone, and the reasons can’t be shared for obvious reasons.
Once you have the card through your mailbox which is usually pretty quick, you’ll have full access to the app and then look into applying for a business account.

Hi @lozzydude I had a person sign up using my referral link and they are already in but I didn’t get the 25 euros for that person. So seems you don’t receive anything for them.

It’s class and by far the best! I’ve my mobile bill coming off the debit card and works like a charm!

Haven’t moved much since my last update with one working day left ,still over 1,000 on the list so think I be waiting for normal account setup as won’t get this early sign up. I say they got the numbers of new accounts they wanted already. I see what happens over coming months .

Is there any news on when the waitlist will be removed and general access opened up?
I originally signed up on 2018 but couldn’t do anything as Ireland wasn’t active, never got a notice for early access so only joined again last week and am 10,550 in the queue…. Not too pushed about the €25 but interested in moving the account to monzo

They have just said full launch later in 2026, you should go down the waitlist patience is key. If you can find someone already in willing to share an invite link that can move you up the list but patience is key you may find yourself in sooner than you think

I have invited 4 people and so far, I have only confirmation of 2 from Monzo. I can confirm that all invitees have signed up but I’m not moving up the queue.
Hi David! Sorry to hear that. Can I ask for more info please? Have you moved up the queue at all so far? Or is it only for these two specific ones you didn’t get confirmation for?
For some extra context - the invitees need to confirm their email address by clicking on a link sent to their email before any queue bumps happen

I can see you’ve got 2 referrals which has resulted in you being bumped from ~5.9k to ~4.4k, and then another which bumped them up again to ~3.2k. The first referral was on Feb 2nd and the next was on Feb 3rd. Thanks

I moved 200 places yesterday and today nothing so think this be very slow process but I’m in no hurry ,I get there when I get there
Well I got the email confirming I could get off the waitlist and open the account. I went through the whole process and was declined without reason. So disappointed and no idea why
