Hello! Please if anyone in a similar situation can shed some light on this please. So I gamble here and there and tonight I won £220 on Mecca Bingo. Played on this gambling site multiple times and made several withdrawals all through Apple Pay, exact same card too. I withdrew my £220 and then about 30 mins later get a message from Mecca saying withdrawal declined by bank, please contact your bank provider and resolve why they have refused accepting payment. So I try withdrawing again in 2 chunks, £50.44 and then £170 15 mins later get 2 notifications from Monzo “declined transaction from Mecca bingo for £50.44/£170” please try to make this payment again using chip & pin, if this payment declines again try using a different card”. Whatever I’m attempting to withdraw from Mecca bingo is being attempted as a deposit from my Monzo card, has anyone been in a similar situation such as this?! Tried contacting both Mecca & Monzo but customer service times out of hours.
You’ll just need to wait for Monzo to respond, we can’t see the decline reasons here unfortunately!
Ive just had same issue with a gambling withdrawal being declined…no idea why though, i deposited with a visa but they only let u withdraw via Mastercard so i dont have another option. Did u get it sorted? I really need the funds asap after waiting for 3 days for it to be processed now this its so annoying.

I’ve been using Monzo for months for a little flutter and have been depositing and withdrawing just fine.
Today I was able to withdraw all morning (it’s been a lucky day) but my last 7 withdrawals have all been declined. Any ideas and how did you resolve this
