Okay so, I’ve been using monzo for a while now. This is getting really annoying now. A few friends sent me funds on monzo. I shared my link and money was deposited into my monzo card. For some reason monzo blocks my card asking for the card photo and bank statement.
How on earth would I have the card and bank statement when someone else sent the funds.
Monzo are also are not responding in chat.
Some help please I have over £1000 in the account.
Hi Hammad, that doesn’t sound good. I’ve never heard of the support team not responding to queries before, something’s not right there.
I’ve flagged this post for the Monzo team to pick up on, as unfortunately I don’t think there’s anything that members of this community can do to help.
Well I’m saying buissness but it’s really just an exchange of currency. So it’s like buying something in exchange for something of that makes sense. I had no idea it breached tos. What can I do to resolve this ?
My understanding is Monzo pays an fee each time they accept a payment via Monzo.me, the same fee that merchants pay when you use your card in their store. If you’re using the service a lot then that cost adds up to an unacceptable amount - essentially it’s a fair usage policy.
I expect you’ll have to stop using Monzo.me on your site but the support team are the only people who can resolve this now. If you don’t hear back via the chat, I’m sure someone will contact you here tomorrow.
I think we know why it’s been blocked. Monzo is not to be used for commercial use ATM. But you need to speak to the Support team. Either in the app or via email at help@monzo.com
