Hi,
I’m Alexie, a Software Developer from Cambridge and one day of Mondo was enough to convert me, and a weekend of it was enough to inspire me to write so many feature requests that I hit the limit (sorry).
I think the near term handy features should include:
Longer term, especially with banking license:
Hopefully you’ll forgive my flood of ideas.

Hey @MightyAx !
There’s already been a lot of discussion on the forum about these ideas that you may be interested in reading.
There’s some discussion on hiding transactions over here .
Regarding hiding or deleting transactions that’s something to explore but, on a first thought, it sounds a bit scary. There are some important consequences if we let you hide transactions at your will. Suddenly totals wouldn’t add up, our budgeting tools would be more complex (should we consider hidden transactions as part of your expenditure or not?), how do you bring them back if you want to unhide them?, etc. It seems a bit too messy IMHO.
Grouping transactions has been discussed here and here .
I have many transactions listed as “Amazon”, but I have just one listed as “Amazon Digital Download” (from a Kindle purchase). Of course, these are considered by the app to be two completely separate merchants - so they’re not combined for the purpose of averaging & total spend.
Some ideas on savings are here , here , and in most detail here .
I have a feature request. A piggy bank function, which goes like this: user sets an amount to be saved after each transaction (e.g. 10p or 50p), so every time card is charged that amount is set aside in a “piggy bank”. Amount could be higher and apply to transactions over certain threshold (e.g. save £5 when charge is over £30). I think it would be quite popular with millennials, because we are so bad at everyday saving.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ve liked and commented where appropriate. It’s interesting how we think of broadly similar ideas but sometimes with very different imagined “implantations”. Especially around virtual accounts.
