Magic link not working, can't start account

Engineer since called back, fixed something their end, app reinstalled and everything ow setup and working.

Not sure what went wrong initially but very impressed with the service and speed of resolution.

Is there any way I can use a password so I don’t have to manually type in the magic link onto my phone every time

Every new device it requires you to use a magic link at first. After that it can be a passcode/faceID etc. However, change the device and you need to reuse the magic link again to start with.

Why would you have to manually type out the magic link?

Because my email is only accessible on a desktop
