Mine is brown leather and I’ve not had any staining in the last 12 months either!

But it’s not white on the inside so presumably it would still stain 
I think it looks white inside too and the darker colour you can see are cards

Yet another alternative would be to move to wallets made of something else. I’ve got one made of nylon. The main downside is, the wallet itself stains and I have to toss it in the wash every now and then.
Could be worse…
