I logged my self out of my account, i’ve tried reinstalling it and used my email to try get back in as thats the only email I have, it then sent me an email and took me to the page where I have to use my number and it said it was in use so I deleted the app again and clicked forgotten my email and tried signing in with my phone number and it said there was no account with my number im so confused and don’t know what to do can any one help me ?
When you load the app, it should give the option to log in at the bottom.
This asks for your email, and sends you a magic link.
Thats what it did then it sent me to put in my number snd a code sent to my number then comes up with the message that my number is in use
You’re not using the email you signed up to Monzo with originally.
Check your emails from Monzo previously, and use the correct email address.
Thats the only email I use I don’t have other emails thats what’s confusing me
You’re either clicking the wrong button or using the wrong email.
Logging in is incredibly simple if you do both of those things correctly.
That’s the sign-up flow, which is a result of using an email address to try and log in to Monzo which does not (yet) exist in Monzo’s database. At this stage, you’re being treated as a new user, but the phone number you entered is already in use - because you will have entered it once before. Hence the error.
You need the log-in flow, which you get to by using a previously registered (correct) e-mail address.
Try logging into the emergency web portal using a lap/desktop browser: web.monzo.com
