Locked pots should unlock at 00:00:01 on the date they are set to be locked to… I have 3 pots that are “Lock until 30th September” - to me that means that 30th September is the date they should then become available.
Luckily I do not need the money, just thought I would share my 2 cents
maybe it’s for the actual time you setup the pot, say like you lock it around 10am that day so maybe around that time it would open
That sounds more like a bug which should be posted in https://community.monzo.com/c/customersupport/bugreports to me, I’m sure most people would expect the funds to be available on the unlock day.
Monzo uses UTC as far as I’m aware, so it’s an hour behind the current time in the UK (doesn’t take into account daylight savings time). If they’re scheduled to unlock at midnight, it may unlock at 1am instead. Otherwise, it could be set to be the exact time frame you locked it (lock at 6pm, unlock at 6pm). I’m not certain but it’s likely to be one of these.

Seems @TTJJ was correct about UTC as these were all unlocked when I woke up this morning.
Now I know, I know not to expect the funds until midnight UTC. Would be nice if it was midnight (local time) regardless of time zone/daylight saving because if it uses UTC in the US as well that becomes a larger difference.
