Last refreshed date/time removed

In the new UI, why has the last refreshed days/time on connected accounts been removed? It was helpful at a glance to tell whether a connected account view was up to date or not. Please can you restore it?

I’ve noticed the app, on every fresh boot, pulls the latest data so maybe it’s not relevant any more?

Or as you’re in the account just tap refresh anyway, takes two taps.

Yes it’s only 2 taps but I think it’s useful to know whether you’re looking at the latest data or not, good UI is about limiting clicks/taps. The info used to exist and it doesn’t always refresh automatically as I found out the other day.

It’s always refreshed from a fresh boot (make sure it’s fully closed, then open).

Happens with Chase, Revolut, and first direct on mine, without fail.

Not for me today, opened the app and was looking at one of my Amex accounts, then wanted to double check whether the data was refreshed and sure enough it wasn’t.

Hey folks!

Firstly, sorry for not picking up the original tag @Carlo1460!

Thanks for the feedback @juggsy - I’ll discuss this one with the team

Thanks @ConnorPB. FYI I’m still seeing the behaviour where connected accounts do not refresh automatically (not sure if this is expected behaviour), so restoring the last refreshed date would be mighty helpful. Thanks!

@ConnorPB I spotted a new behaviour today so wanted to let you know - I went into one of my connected accounts (Nationwide) and observed the transaction list refresh automatically, where I could see transactions from today. However the balance in the account did not refresh until I manually refreshed it.

This makes it even more confusing as the updated transactions make it look like it’s refreshed, but gives a false balance indication. And with no way of seeing the last refresh time there’s a real risk of being presented with a false view of your account. Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know - I’ve asked the team who look after this feature to investigate
