Declines (Automatically blocked)
Some merchants automatically block prepaid cards. The ones we are aware of are
- CostCo
- The National Lottery
- Brand Vending Machines
- Huel
Other Issues
- Morrisons, My Local and Superdrug decline contactless transactions - chip and pin should go through fine
- We seem to have issues with Vital Ingredient - we are looking into what these are and will hopefully resolve soon
*There are issues with contactless payments at Carluccios.
We’d appreciate you sharing any other declines you’ve encountered when using Monzo. It would be equally helpful to hear of any vendors listed above which you have made successful transactions with
