Joint account pay in methods

Hi all

I have a personal Monzo account I use. I plan to set up a joint account with my partner after see signs up for a personal.

My question is, does paying into the joint account work the same as personal account. IE use external bank account to transfer money into the joint account?

It has a sort code and account number so yes

Also there is an option under ‘Payments’ tab to ‘Move money between your accounts’

So you can click this and move money from your personal to your joint account (or vise versa) without the need for account numbers and sort codes :slight_smile:
