Issue Linking Monzo with External Financial App via Open Banking

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to link my Monzo account with Money Dashboard through Open Banking, but I’m running into an issue. The app prompts me to authenticate via Monzo, but after approving the connection in the Monzo app, it redirects me back to the app with an error: “Authentication Failed: Unable to establish a connection.”

Here are the steps I’ve tried so far:

  1. Revoked and re-established the connection in the Monzo app.
  2. Cleared the cache and reinstalled the external app.
  3. Confirmed that my Monzo app is updated to the latest version.
  4. Verified that Open Banking permissions are enabled in my Monzo account.

I’m not sure if the issue is on Monzo’s end or with the external app. Moreover, if you are into capcut video editing and want to edit your videos on PC then click here and download capcut for pc. Has anyone faced a similar issue or have any suggestions on what else I can try? :grinning::grinning:

Have you deleted app, restart your device and then reinstall the monzo app?

You may also need to revoke access within both apps and start fresh.
