iPhone 12

You do realise that Samsung flag-ship phones cost that too?

I do but c’mon they said money is tight, and they brought something cheaper and you descend like a pack of wolves.

At least realise that iPhones for a lot of people are out of budget they can afford or even want to spend. Granted it should have been a different topic but even still.

I do hence why I don’t have one.

I’m on iPhone 7 and if anything i’d be looking to upgrade to XR lol

If money is tight, then get the current phone repaired for free, don’t buy another and discard the expensive one!

Wanted to switch to android too, not just because of apple pay.

I’ll be selling one of my old phones to cut my losses

Now you’re not using the iPhone, take it back to JL. Then you’ll be able to sell a working brand new iPhone.

I’ll keep it as I said for a back up incase I ever have to have my new Samsung repaired

No JL round here and can’t be bothered with the hassle of sending it off

I’m referring to an old iPhone se from 2017 which is the one I will sell

I don’t know how often you use a back-up phone, but I would keep the cheaper one personally.

I already spoke to apple over the phone and they ran a diagnostic test and said the contactless sensor is in working order .
Nearest apple store is an hour away and I don’t have a car

But am I right in thinking you have a scooter?

Didn’t you get a posh bike, @Venomx?

A thread some time back about tyres…?

I can’t ride my electric scooter down the motorway

£1k+ for a mobile phone  is it me or is this amount for a phone Ludacris. I know they have a multi purpose now but still…a phone!

(Actually, I agree with you, that’s more than I’m willing to pay, but…)

It’s not just a phone, and you only have to look at people’s screen time to see that. I’m 2-3 hours a day usually, which is 1,800 hours use over 2 years, or around 50p/hour if I get an expensive phone. Bargain.

In fact, the last thing it is, is a phone :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

But you’ll happily ride on the pavements and through other pedestrianised areas? So now your safety is of concern it’s an issue, but the other way round it’s not?

Now THERE’S a Saturday morning topic if ever I’ve seen one :grinning:

Riding on the motorway is kinda more dangerous than going 12mph max on a path . Not going to continue this argument any more
