Hi
When the new chat was introduced some users were disappointed that there were no-longer timestamps on the messages which made it easier to track how long support was taking.
@JPLopes described this as a “missing feature”
Timestamps etc.
Sorry about this: this is simply a missing feature that we haven’t got to yet.
We know this information is quite helpful to set the right expectations when you’re starting a chat. We’re working on making this a reality soon and are expecting to ship these in the upcoming weeks:
Message timestamps;
Grouping messages by day they were sent;
An indication when a conversation is resolved;
An indication of when a new COp took over the chat;
An estimation of how much time it will take to answer your chat request (this will depend whether the customer marked their query as urgent and non-urgent).
I’m on iOS running 2.54.1#539 and and I still don’t have timestamps.
Is there any progress being made on this?
It’s been quite a while.
I’m also on iOS and I’ve had timestamps for messages except for the latest message I’ve sent. I’ve reported this as a bug here:
Issue:
The last message sent on Monzo chat does not have a timestamp for when the message was sent. It just says “sent” where the timestamp should be (see screenshot 1)
If another message is sent, the timestamp for the previously sent message appears (see screenshot 2). The same is also the case if the emoji customer satisfaction survey appears.
If a COp replies, a timestamp appears on the users previous message and on the COps last message.
Details to reproduce: Send a message on Mo…
Got a timestamp on all my messages on v2.56.0. Date at the top of a day and a time on the message bubbles.
