[iOS] App fails to recognise duplicate payees with linked accounts

When adding bank details to recent payees/contacts, the app fails to merge accounts where alternative bank accounts are listed as separate payees.

  • Pay to a bank account belonging to some person
  • Pay to another bank account belonging to the same person OR skip this step if Monzo bank account
  • In the Payments tab, under “Recent”, select one of the two bank accounts paid to in the above steps – if Monzo bank account in second step, select Monzo contact anywhere in Payments tab
  • Add the bank details of the other bank account via “Add Bank Account” button
  • Other bank account still presents itself as a separate payee in Payments tab, as opposed to merging the payee details
