iOS 17.2 released. It’s the same build as the RC, as is watchOS 10.2.
Apple has surely given up on the usual Tuesday releases, or it has a security hole patch.
The final release has often been on the Monday following the RC.

Are you sure as this is the dates I found for the iOS 17 branches, other than the initial 17.0 release and its all Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until now. I guess they just release it whenever as its not typical for any day.
Looking at 16.x releases (where I was a lot more involved in the betas), only one was on a Tuesday and the majority were a Monday. I haven’t counted the 16.x.x releases as they didn’t have betas.
Things may have changed with 17.x - not enough data yet ![]()
tvOS 17.2 has the vertical menu now. I like the changes although for some reason Apple doesn’t recognise BBC and ITV has channels whereas channel 4 and 5 are both listed in the Channels and Apps section, along with Disney, Pluto etc. I wonder why they’ve done that?
Did it usually have BBC?
This is a new menu so no. BBC and ITV are connected apps in Settings but they don’t have a dedicated channel for some reason.
BBC is just terrible at tvOS support. I am not sure if they even do 1080 yet on it.
You don’t have to use the journal app. I’ve just removed it from the Home Screen.
Very unlike the Monzo forum!
Tbf the vertical menu threw me. I don’t know where that came from.
FWIW the suggestions get better over time. I also thought this but I’ve been enjoying getting into journalling, not something I ever bothered with before. Sometimes I’ll write about whats randomly in my head, other times the suggestion will be valid.
I also use it to capture memories, for example if you’ve been somewhere nice on a day it’ll collate pictures and you can write about that our just capture it for looking back later.
New betas released:
iOS 17.3
iPadOS 17.3
watchOS 10.3
tvOS 17.3
macOS 14.3
What network are you with?
Just switching from Zevvle to Honest Mobile (Three?)
Hmm. I’d ignore it if your data is working.
I did have a browse online and the mobilethink does look to issue some kinda settings but if it works, why fix it ![]()
