I am British.
But, escaping the dreaded Covid, I’ve moved to Northern Mindanao, Philippines. Thanks to quick and effective government actions, there are now 9 cases of Covid here, out of a Northern Mindanao population of 10 million people. I spent the lockdown months, writing a book. I am now publishing it, via Amazon Kindle.
It asked for a bank account to pay in any book sales income (should I be so lucky!). I typed in my Monzo bank details, which were rejected. Amazon Kindle doesn’t recognise the bank.
So in order to publish my book at all, I had to type in the details of my old, much hated First Direct account, that I had hoped I’d said goodbye to.

Are you sure you typed the account details correctly? It is common to mess up the sort code because it’s just 0’s and 4’s.

I will try once more, as I’d far rather divert my small bits of income - a UK pension, and maybe some possible future book earnings, via Monzo - rather than the horrible HSBC - who treated me so badly, after I’d ran an account with them for over 20 years.
If it doesn’t work, email acceptance@monzo.com and they can try chase it up with Amazon.

Hi everybody, this is my first post in this forum but I’ve been Monzo customer since its beta version of 2017. I still remember the times where Monzo was on invite only and I had to send VIP tickets to my friends

It’s just indoor rock climbing… just without ropes 🧗♂ you do get huge padded mats incase the inevitable happens though
