Identity Verification Monzo Stuck

Hey Monzo,
It’s taking too long to verify my identity. It’s just stuck in that verification screen and I’m still waiting. Please look into my account to resolve this issue. Please reply fast. My email is .edited to remove email address

The best way to reach Monzo Staff is via the In-App Chat or via Email.
You can also call Monzo during opening hours by calling 0800 802 1281

I would recomment removing your email address as this community forum is open to the general public and its part of your Monzo Account!

How long have you been waiting? Sometimes it takes a while but the best thing to do is email if it’s been more than a few days

As @Rat_au_van said, the verification process can take several days depending on workload and circumstances. From personal experience, it took 4 days for my wife to be verified - but that spanned a weekend so it is possible you won’t receive verification until Monday at the earliest.

PS: Why can’t I explore the account and wait for my card. I’m stuck on that activate your card screen.

Admin never approved my post so that’s why I replied late !!!

It should still allow you to explore your accounts before you get your card unless it’s changed since i joined.

Saying that. A lot has changed since I joined Monzo!

Yeah, I think it has changed. But it would be nice to bring back that feature instead of waiting waiting for the card and sitting there. But anyways, Monzo is going to be awesome

Its ashame that feature has gone but im sure theres reason behind it, they have changed their UI significantly, Your very welcome and thats what we are here for in the Community!

Hey,
The issue’ fixed. It was able to get through the account. Well how that was done:

Long press on the app (Android) like you’re going to uninstall it.
Choose Summary.
And boom, you can now explore the account.

Maybe pinning this message will help for other people struggling.

I used to have that problem to with having to wait a bit for my post to be approved. But if you carry on you will eventually get a higher trust factor which will remove the restriction. Trust Factors
