Hello! I was informed on live chat yesterday I had won monzo double payday. They then proceeded to tell me i had received the funds as it is showing up on there system.. I have not received the funds. A manager rang me a few hours later and went through transactions with me and was very apologetic and said it needed to be passed onto the specialist team.. I was expecting a call from the same manager today but I haven’t heard anything.. does anyone know how long it takes the specialist team to investigate? Monzo live chat just keep telling me once there’s an update I’d be the first to know. I am grateful I have won, but having to wait on the funds has been abit frustrating..
If customer support can’t sort it and the funds are still missing best to lodge a complaint
Why would they inform you on chat when they notify you in the app?
Hello! I didn’t understand how to check and I got paid yesterday. When I read onto it, it said it should appear under the income transaction. But it didn’t just salary sorter. So I asked on the live chat just.
We may give winners the option of tapping into their next salary transaction, or the Double Payday feature card to see if they have been selected as a winner.
If they do so, we may pay the double salary amount instantly. Otherwise, winners will be paid one week after the end of the month in which the winner was selected.
If you are a winner and opt out of Double Payday before the winning payment has been made, you will no longer be eligible for a double payment.
Could be you’ll be paid one week after the end of the month if you never tapped into your next salary transaction or the double payday feature card to check you’re a winner
