Tempted as I can walk there but if there is a massive queue I would rather just eat the cost and buy one than spent time queuing up.

Monzo launching ATMs (or “hole in the wall”) anytime soon?
How does it work? Do you need to be a Monzo customer to access? What mechanics are behind it?

I have visions of this being a false wall in front of a Greggs store and staff behind shouting “beep” and putting a sausage roll in the slot

Free for everyone, no card needed. It was built into what looked like a proper cash machine fascia, but it had a touch screen you tapped to begin, then picked sausage or vegan roll. There were some fake mechanical cash machine noises and then the sausage roll just popped out of the slot in a way that was, er, definitely not just someone shoving it through
Looking at it now I think the whole wall is false because there’s a shopfront there on Streeview (a beauty place not a Greggs!). It was warm so I guess there was a whole operation going on back there!

Yeah, just looked at that 2022 pic. Looks like the beauty store has shifted next door since then and this fascia has taken over the old premises, for the day

I guess the “MONEY” ATM was out of service as surely not enough room for the machine between fascia and shop window whereas the MONZO ATM would be in the front door space.
I absolutely loved this as an advertising gimmick. Really successful and being shared very organically amongst my WhatsApp groups of friends.
