Need to get a minor touch up one of the letters, was told to wait until its healed then he can correct it

As you can see in the picture one of the “r” are thicker than the otherIMG_20190524_141307

Am i being pedantic and should I just leave it ? Cannot decide lol

Only you can answer that. If you aren’t happy, ask for it to be changed.

Think i’ll have " peace and love " for my next one, end of june sort of time.
Will be a bigger one so needs more thought.

Out of interest are you only getting text or are you wanting to go into more “piece” work e.g. flowers and animals?

Just text for now

Always worry about moving whilst he’s doing the tat but reassuringly he presses down on my arm so i cannot move lol.
The meds I take can make me a bit shakey !

Ok got it booked in for next week.

Any ideas on how to sit still, my meds can make me twitchy occasionally ? Last time the tattooist just rested his arm on mine and it was ok. But my next piece is considerably bigger.
I heard deep breathing could help ?

Have you made sure to have a good meal and sugar with you? That is normally the main culprit.

However, if it’s the meds definitely I would speak to your doctor about maybe not having them on that day.

Thanks for the info  ive monitred the jolts and its usually when the meds wear off so I’ll make sure to take them at the right time with a meal.
Also if I’m tired, so I’ll get an early night and should be fine

To be fair the jolts only affect my jaw most the time ( he reduced my meds because of this and its helped substantially}

You should be fine then!
As long as your artist is aware and is comfortable with tattooing you it’s no problem. With bigger pieces you may just have to have a few more breaks.

I hope so !
I’ll make sure to relax my arm as much as possible too, I had a minor jolt in my last tattoo and it was fine.

Will post pics once done, thanks for the info everyone

Sods law I still happen to have some small spots where I want my next tattoo :rage: and nowhere else on my body. Hoping it goes ahead tomorrow as planned.
Had the spots checked out at the pharmacist and they are A-OK apparently.

Woop had it done this morning. Covers most of my forearm. Really happy with it.

How often do you recommend cleaning the tattoo for the first five days?

Cleaning the tattoo basically till it’s healed. First 5 days are the most important as infection is most common there. (Sorry late reply got exams atm)

I’ve dry-healed my last few tattoos. That means just leaving it without any babycream or bapanthen. Keeping it clean obviously. It’s had a good effect - my work looks really vibrant

£10 says you won’t get a Monzo tattoo.
