Simon made a good point here if your payday falls on a weekend:
For me I get paid on the last day of every month so some months I’m waiting 5 weeks! I’ve therefore had to stretch my normal wage to survive longer. Therefore to ease this I could get paid early to take the edge off and “roll over” those couple of days onto the next month
