Whoaaaa I’m way behind haha. Think still chapter 2?

Will have a go tonight.

Managed to get my broadband to work with Call of Duty online, by using cloud gaming instead of downloading.

It refused to join previously, most likely due to CGNAT over using mobile broadband.

Cloud gaming must route the data another way through Xbox to allow me to connect (which makes sense, CGNAT doesn’t easily allow two end points to communicate unlike public or fixed IPs).

Xbox is hosting the server instead of me so it seems.

Cloud gaming is basically screen streaming so the Xbox in the cloud won’t have those issues.

In theory if your mobile broadband had full ipv6 then NAT isn’t an issue but many don’t and even then I am not sure if CoD supports it.

On another note Oblivion came out on game pass!!!

It looks like there’s two pallets in the river, but the nearest one is just one plank wide and I can’t quite hit it and when I think I have, I fall into the waters and die repeatedly

The connection was tried both ipv6 only and dual stack but it refused to work when I downloaded the game ages ago.

Same mast same setup same data sim.

The only difference is cloud gaming. Also tells me my ping is <13ms in game but at home over the same WiFi it’s 30/40ms.

No major difference in impact I know, I will download the game and see if it works, but it definitely refused to connect to the online servers when I last downloaded.

Drag it to you, jump on; then drag yourself to the other side?

I’m not that far so wouldn’t have a clue yet  unless there is another pallet around.

Might give that a go, most of the ways to get this far have been a double jump and a glide

Although if you have the switch game already, the upgrade costs £10

It’s a meme…..

Memes aren’t automatically funny just because it’s a meme

Just gone past this, you just have to run fast and jump twice and glide over.

Stunning little game!

I restarted the game to see if I missed anything in the tutorial and I’m following a walkthrough guide but I haven’t got that far yet.
Diablo IV just launched a new season

Anyone else playing Blue Prince? I’m absolutely loving it! Won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but if you enjoy rogue like games/puzzles then I’d recommend checking it out. It’s available on PS Plus Extra or Xbox Game Pass.

I could pee!

26 days until release :zombie:

Anyone purchasing Requiem on day one?

Never played resident evil games so I doubt it! What is a good start point in the series and what style are they 3rd / 1st person etc (I know they are horror games).

I have got into playing the Batman Arkham games on my steam deck as they were on an insane deal a couple of weeks ago. Work well on steam deck even though asylum is ā€œunsupportedā€ā€¦.

They’re third person originally.

Depending how you want to go about it, I’d always recommend going the originals first:

Resident evil directors cut

Resident evil 2

Resident evil nemesis

Resident evil code Veronica

Play out the clunky gameplay and cheesy lines and dramatic scenes; then move on to RE2, RE3, RE4 remakes, 5 OG was alright, stay away from 6.

7 and 8 are first person which are really good, gives more a horror/scare vibe.

Requiem is looking to be first person following 7 and 8.

I would just start with RE4 Remake. You don’t need to have played the others and it’s by far the standout.

Got halfway through 7, which is also great. Agreed with @Carlo1460 that it has am much stronger creep horror vibe.
