Gaming 🎮

Xbox Series S/X and PS5 supports keyboards and mice. The game also has to support it, of course. Skylines likely does, given the style of game.

Make sure you do a little research on your choice of keyboard and mouse first. I’ve no idea how fussy Xbox is, but PS5 doesn’t work with some models.

Sadly, my MX Keys Mini keyboard and MX Master 3S mouse are on the incompatible list, so I’m unable to connect to my PS5. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Somewhat odd question for a gaming thread…

Just trying to work out the irk to the word slay.

No point going indirect wanting to understand.

Edit: amended the comment cuz people be sad.

I get that but it’s also irrelevant. It simply doesn’t matter.

Labelling people is one of my irks, but each to their own.

They may simply dislike the sound of the word “Slay”.

Irrelevant to you, yes, but not to me in form of questioning to understand the irk.

Your opinion is of your own, you can just simply nosey out if it’s not for you.

I hear this a lot in my community, some of them drag race obsessed and it is used a lot.

You do you, I guess. And no, I won’t “nosey out of it”. If I have something to say, I will do so. You sure do. Let’s leave it there.

You do you hun xx

Fairs.

I’d never say slay, but when I’m with certain people and they say yassss I’ll say it with them in the moment.

Definitely not a regular thing.

Not sure there is much visibly or mannerisms that would make most think I’m gay.

Mum always did say “you get a lot of attention from the women eh?”. Yep, shame it’s not the men.

Bringing it around to gaming, is there many games focused around LGBT? Am I right saying an assassins creed had a plot?

It probably will have wider compatibility, being based on Windows. PS5 is Unix based.

Yes, they are a bit steep. I do like Logitech though, they make some decent kit.

Looks like a nice little keyboard. I’m happy with my MX Keys Mini - I tried the mechanical version but the noises really started to irritate me. I know many people are obsessed with mechanical but it just doesn’t do it for me.

Stunning clips. Absolutely stunning production levels there.

Anyone had a go at Quiet Place: The Road Ahead game yet?

Watched a bit on YouTube yesterday and seems an alright game.

I’m intrigued how sensitive the mic is for the monsters in Quiet Place. Resonates that of Alien apparently.

I lasted 10 mins in that game, I just couldn’t get into it for some reason.

Do you also feel that the franchise has perhaps been overdone now? I mean I’ve lost count of how many AC games there are at this point.

I get some people still enjoy it, but I can’t help but feel the dev resources could be spent on trying some new franchises.

Now you see, open world with lots of side fluff is where I’m at. I really enjoy those games. Fallout for example remains my favourite franchise. I like to explore and appreciate the small details, the main story is something I can complete much later.

I have the LCD with an anti glare screen protector - still absolutely love it working my way through Fallout London on it.

If they put OLED in the steam deck 2 will probably be there day 1 however the xbox handheld rumours would win me other if it’s a portable xbox and can play xbox games so it’s a waiting game where I can’t lose!
