Just found out that Starling are still offering this. Really great way for me to collect donations for a leaving gift for a colleague. Excellent way for Starling to promote themselves as your friends get an email receipt promoting the bank and providing links to the app etc. Please bring this feature back Monzo! If it costs money then why not add to the premium offer?

Surely open banking transfers are more likely.
Best to hold out for Apple Pay Cash to launch in the UK.
That actually sounds like a pretty competitive bet: which will arrive first, Apple Pay in Monzo.me or Apple Pay Cash? Not sure which I would go for.
