But…
Doesn’t require an app update
All but that last one do match your suggestion
Only 24hrs left before we know for sure though
Would monzo really be encouraging people to go into overdraft to buy ‘the things they want’?

Developer on Slack revealed he wasn’t involved in the testing and he works on payments.
I think it might be Current Account Switching

I was thinking it might be some broader rollout of their “spread the cost” product. They were testing it months ago so you’d think by now they might have decided on how it would work and could offer it more generally.
