Direct debit issue


For the last 24 hours I have been trying to book a holiday for my family through a direct debit option on First Choice however every time I try set up the direct debit it’s saying that my name and/or date of birth don’t match my account details with my bank. I have honestly tried this over 40 times in different ways and it’s still not working, I have also tried doing the direct debit scheme through another website and still having the same issues so it’s obviously an issue with the bank but every time a phone up they say there’s nothing they can do. Is there anything a can do to resolve this?
