They’re just entered manually and the default transaction type for those is top-up. A successful chargeback also displays as a top up for example.
Do we not think this should be amended to reflect a Cheque payment? If I was scrolling through the payment timeline in six months time I wouldn’t have a clue what this was (unless of course I use the #Tags)
I agree, but I don’t think it’s a big priority at the moment. I think Monzo is planning to offer digital cheque deposits (where you take a picture of them with your phone) so they’ll probably revamp the UI at that point.
