This morning I found I got a refund from deliveroo and a subsequent purchase for the same value. I didn’t use deliveroo nor yesterday or this morning.
Some kind of cross transaction?
That sounds like something you should ask support via. in-app chat. They may be able to look into it and see more detail about the transaction to help work out what’s going on.
Do let us all know when you find out what’s going on there.
Have you used them recently as this:
Unsure if they patched it or not but it happened to me after the first time I ever used them a few month ago

@anon72173902 Interesting reading. This is why I like Monzo, you get an instant notification when the card has been used and you can freeze it quick.
I raised with the team, lets see what they think.
If you’ve used Deliveroo in the last week or so it was potentially a pending transaction which failed to authorise over the bank holiday - I had the same thing happen to me this morning (refund + subsequent debit) with a transaction from last Wednesday.
@ned It is exactly this.
I asked through the chat and this seems the case, the transaction failed, I get the refund and it was processed again, this time successfully.
