Continuing the discussion from 3 x standing orders declined overnight (topic was closed automatically so couldn’t reply there)
I just had my rent standing order payment declined. After speaking to Monzo support it turned out to be the same problem as described above.
Firstly, just like to give credit where due - Monzo support are excellent. I had a reply within minutes.
Secondly, real-time feedback on declined transactions is very useful.
However, I feel there should be more explanation in the decline notification, and an option to retry.
