When I registered with Monzo, I used by full name, and by definition my link is now /kristopher20evolution (its not, but example from my username)
I contacted support a while back to change the name on my account to a shorter version so Kris not Kristopher, however my Monzo.me link is still my full name.
Best thing to do is speak to an agent through the app, there is a guideline somewhere around here stating what is acceptable and what isn’t, I think omitting the middle name, or a shorter version of your first name is mentioned.

You can now only change your monzo.me link if you’re a Monzo Plus subscriber, or you change your legal name. Either way, just drop us a message through the in-app chat.
So essentially if I had waited and I now wanted to remove my middle name like I did last month from my monzo.me name I would have to either change my legal name or pay for Plus?
