Hi, Iv’e got an iPhone 6s Plus and I’ve tried to make a identification video several times now on different occasions. I’ve tried to turn off my phone, delete and download the app again… nothing works. I come to the page where it says you should press the microphone button but when I do nothing happens.
What can I do?

Have you checked the app has permission to access video/microphone?
I don’t have an iPhone but it’s what I would check on Android.

Yes I’ve checked that and allowed it to use the microphone …

Try going through the first few points in this post;
There have been several reports of users being unable to run the app (before sign-up is complete) and also after sign-up/verification has been done. There are several common causes for these situations, detailed below:-
