Can't log in

Unable to log into Monzo Account, originally opened the app and I was logged out and after a couple attempts to log back in it comes up with a red screen saying unable to give you a Monzo account at the moment after having one for nearly 9 months now with no issues.

Can anyone help ?

Delete and reinstall the app and double check you’re selecting log in with the same email address you signed up with

I’ve attempted this multiple times and it’s still giving the red screen “ we’re unable to offer you a Monzo account at the moment”.

I’m assuming you’re on iOS?

Try deleting the app from within Settings and see if that makes any difference?

More specifically:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on General
  3. Tap on Storage & iCloud Usage
  4. Under the Storage heading, tap on Manage Storage
  5. Wait for your list of apps to populate
  6. Select Monzo
  7. Tap on the red Delete App option
  8. At the next prompt, tap OK
  9. Exit Settings
  10. Reboot your iPhone (press the Power and Home buttons for about 10 secs)

Now reinstall the Monzo app and see whether this process has made any difference.

Is this any different from the usual delete?

No idea. It had some success with a user in a similar position. They were stuck on a screen mid sign up, regardless of uninstalling normally. It could be just the phone restart that sorts it though. :man_shrugging:

Are you absolutely sure you are logging in, and not accidentally trying to create a new account?
