I recently opened a joint account with my partner. They were able to transfer money to it. However, when I tap on the “Move money” or “Add money” buttons, my joint account doesn’t appear as an option. When my partner taps those same buttons, the Joint Account is automatically selected. Seems like a nasty bug to me. Anyone else had this issue?

Does the Joint account card show at the top of the Monzo Home display, in the card ‘stack’?
Ours is at the bottom of the stack in my display:
Hello. Yes the white card is in the stack. Only difference is I haven’t activated my card yet because it hasn’t been delivered. However, neither has my partner for the same reason, but they managed to add money straight away
Could try delete the app, restart your device and then reinstall, see if that fixes anything. Usually does.

@lucabrown Who initiated the joint account creation, you or your partner?
I did. Then we both went through the flow. No issues encountered. It took maybe an hour to get the account though. For that time we both had the “your partner needs to answer some questions” page. Even though we both had finished the process. Dont know if that’s related though.
Ah, OK. I wondered if it was some weird thing relating to who’d set up the account being able to do it immediately, and the second person needing to activate a card first. Evidently not.

Right well I got the card and activated and now I can deposit. Very confusing why my partner was able to and I wasnt. Thank you everyone for the help anyway
It’s a security/risk process, though a strange one given you already have a personal account, I guess it was the same when you opened your personal? Couldn’t access until the card arrived?
Must be some weird profile tag, but at least it’s sorted now.
