So I think there should be a feature where when you make a support ticket in the app it tells you the average response time depending on how many agents are currently working, so then users know roughly how long they may be waiting.

I see a lot of people complaining about how long support is taking, but I have not had any problems with them, the longest time I have waited is around 15 minutes.
Unfortunately not all their customers can be that lucky.
