I’ve changed phones and my new phone can’t complete the video verification. It doesn’t have a selfie camera, the default camera app takes only pictures, and whilst running android, the phone company has modified it quite significantly (its a Mudita Kompakt). I press “open camera” on the page which shows the numbers to dictate, and nothing except the button pressing animation works. Is there any way I can record and send the video to Monzo to them another way? Many thanks for your help
The best thing to do is to drop us an email on help@monzo.com as we can’t offer any account specific support on the community I’m afraid!

Just Googled this and it’s an interesting device.
I’m not sure how well Monzo will support it, as it’s not classed as a smartphone and its operating system isn’t listed among those supported by the Monzo app.
