After making a transfer to somebody and you feel or think that something is off
And did this as an assistance to a person in need.
How can be sure that you account details will not be use for any wrong or frud related situations or crimes

Do you know this person?

Also, please remove the details of their bank account and surname.

Hi @zofisa, just to let you know that I’ve removed the screenshot because it had some personal information in.

They can’t see your account details in most cases, which bank was the receiving bank?

At most they could take out a direct debit with your details if they got them , the direct debit guarantee says you’ll get your money back straight away in full if you tell your bank.

I thought Monzo do show the sender’s bank details on a received payment?

From the screenshot that was posted it seems the issue is the OP has sent a tenner to another Monzo account by Faster Payment, and now regrets it.

I ask the OP again, do you know the person? And if not, why did you send them money?

Monzo turned off the feature of seeing details of inbound transfers, if I remember correctly starling are the only major one that still do, but they possibly also turned it off.
