Acitvated card- "Verifying"

Hi,

Newb question perhaps, but I today activated my Monzo card and the app kicked me back to “We’re verifying your account information”.

Is that right? I got the impression from the instructions with the card that it would be instant. “Open your Monzo app to link your new Monzo card. Then you’re good to go!”.

Any help appreciated.
