I donā€™t care if itā€™s purple with green spots - itā€™s the contents that matter. People who make a fuss about the colour of the card need to go and take a long, hard look at their priorities

I not rushed about the card at all I just saying that if they wore to do it it would be welcomed not saving they have to.

When I got my Plus, for all 3 months prior to them pulling it :joy:, I just had the hot coral one.

Metal cards are cool. But think they are a bit gimmicky now.

While Iā€™d like something that looked a bit more exclusive is it really needed in terms of cardpeening?

Canā€™t say too much just yet, but as it stands, each of the three tiers has a unique card design. We think you will dig them :blush:

The only reason I have plus is because itā€™s annoying having two almost identical cards (current and joint) in my wallet. Also annoying in Apple Pay when theyā€™re so similar.

Monzo are usually quite switched on with usability but this seems to be something thatā€™s slipped by. Maybe very few people have both a current and joint account? :man_shrugging:

Will we be able to upgrade to plus but keep our existing card until it expires (less plastic, less hassle changing the number for numerous subscriptions etc)?

I canā€™t speak for this Plus but on the two versions prior to it you had the option to order a Plus card once you signed up. Therefore if you didnā€™t want one you just continued with your current one.

These have a strange amex feel to them with the member since thing.

If monzo ever ditch the embossed classic style cards this would be a good template to work from. (fan of them for the retro look and they provide help to people needing to use the cards in places like Japan where there is the odd zip zap machine about)

Yes I know they are an American company that has the word ā€˜Americanā€™ in their name. But the word ā€˜thruā€™ is just so painfully Americanā€¦it belongs in the bin along with spray cheese, or 10 minute long pharmaceutical advertsā€¦
