I didnāt think you could do the 30 day trial on the family plan (which is required to get the Google Home mini)?

Being a full on, locked in Apple man, Iāve never tried Alexa or Google Assistantā¦
VERY impressed with Google Assistant.
Itās a shame it doesnāt work with Apple Music (using voice), but you can connect it via bluetooth if you want (although itās not an amazing music speaker).
Not sure what use I have for it yet - But overall, really great value for Ā£15

Iāve used both, Google Assistant for only a short time and agree, itās very good and seems more polished than Alexa. Using it for lights, Nest, reminders etc. It doesnāt work with Sonos at the moment but should be ready soon.
