Had a look but unfortunately I don’t own any of the cards. This does look good though and would like to see more lab tests like this ^^
If only Amazon could be added to Apple Pay now, still can’t believe it’s not possible.
May not be popular for much longer
Amazon connected
Thank you!!!
I have added my Aqua account successfully.
To answer your question: supporting more cards a very small technical cost, but a non-negligible overall cost: it means more providers to test with, provide support for, etc.
We picked the four we did because they are major store brand cards (Amazon, Argos) and popular standalone NewDay brands (Aqua, Marbles).
As for the ones we didn’t include:
NewDay no longer seem to support Laura Ashley and Outfit.
It’s interesting to note that when we checked, we found that for the brands in the Arcadia Group—which I think was recently bought out of administration—their cards still work for existing customers, but don’t accrue loyalty points and seem to be unavailable for new customers. This includes Burton, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Topman, Wallis.
If anyone wants us to add a particular NewDay brand, let us know—I’d be interested to hear it!
They are migrating their customers with old/redundant store-branded cards to the new in-house NewDay brand Pulse. It seems like that will be a major part of their customer base in the longer term so perhaps it’s one to consider supporting in the future.
Added Amazon & Aqua no issues
I also forgot to say that the Amazon card will eventually be “turning into” a Pulse card once NewDay’s deal with Amazon ends. It has already been announced that the agreement is not being renewed.
So Monzo probably want to support the Pulse card before that happens, to make sure affected customers don’t “lose” access to their card connection in the Monzo app.
I 2nd this, come on Monzo add pulse now.
Noticed an issue on the Aqua integration where foreign (US, from what I have seen) transactions are shown with a sub-value of US$0.01
Anyone else able to confirm this behaviour?

Cannot add my Argos Card, says I’ve an invalid username? For clarity - I have the Argos store card, is this the account that can be added or have I missed something?
More for the Argos classic than the store card I believe.
Have added Amazon successfully, thanks for the tip. However the process was a little convoluted, as I was directed to a web login where I had to put username/password/otp, and also had to select a certificate to authenticate (non-tech savvy users may struggle here). With other cards it’s much simpler using app and Face ID authentication.
Also found it amusing that NewDay use azure web services, funny for an Amazon card!
Oh dear What phone were you using, is this on iOS?
Thanks for pointing this out! As @Carlo1460 says, it looks like Argos offer two credit cards:
- The “Argos Classic Credit Card”, issued by NewDay
- The Argos store card, issued by Home Retail Group (which I believe is Argos themselves)
Unfortunately we only support the cards issued by NewDay.
I’ve renamed them to “Argos Classic” in the list to hopefully make this a little clearer
Interesting I’ve checked some example transactions on our side and it looks like we’re correctly displaying what NewDay are sending us.
Are you able to share what this transaction looks like in the NewDay app?
Is there anychance we might see Fluid from NewDay being supported? It’s my main Credit card I use every day
I just removed my Amazon and reconnected and it was just a button to confirm. On iOS
I presume OP doesn’t have the app installed on their phone?
