It means they’ve finally got round to changing the logo to the new MasterCard one.

Apple Pay still doesn’t have text across the card. The last few digits are on the bottom left of the card. So it probably just means they updated up the card with a new logo and realised the picture of the chip wasn’t needed.

Chip got 4 letters but they take it away so you can cut that down to 3 letters. Turn letters to days, and we’re at freaking Tuesday. I solved it!!

Really? Literally the only place I found not taking Apple Pay AMEX is KFC (but in all fairness they don’t take AMEX at all). Also it causes their machines to crash.
Not surprising for a chicken company so poorly managed that they ran out of chicken across most of their stores for nearly a week recently!

They presumably selected them on the basis of the cheapest quote (“cheep cheep”) rather than ability to deliver the service promised. It was a total foul up (a fowl up you could say)!

Ahh gotcha!
I wonder how much more money they lost instead of saved out of that debacle. That said, it certainly got them all over the news and it actually motivated me to go to KFC so maybe that had some mitigating effect

Agree, JUST NEED Apple Pay everywhere!
Gotta say not having Apple Pay makes my Monzo card useless for everything besides travel. I live in London, and rely heavily on Apple Pay on my watch, particularly for transport.

It isn’t easier to dig around for your wallet and get your monzo card out, and tap it, when you could alternatively just wave your wrist at the turnstile.
