I was merely pointing out that complaining about Google Pay support is probably not the most productive use of time (given I was one complaining to Google about their lack of Android Pay support in the UK during the year between Apple Pay and Android Pay releases in the UK)

Are we expecting this definitely within the next month?

I currently have a multi-card credit card (Lloyds Amex/Mastercard) but Iā€™m looking to get a full Amex.

Apple Pay not on Monzo has been the one thing stopping me from making the jump - however, if weā€™re expecting this pretty soon, Iā€™d be happy to put up with not having Apple Pay (for non-Amex) for a bit.

Oh, Iā€™m definitely sticking with Monzo, but Iā€™ve just avoided jumping into having a full Amex (with Monzo as my non-Amex) because of Monzo not being on Apple Pay. So Iā€™m just hoping it comes soon so Iā€™m not back the stone age for too long! :stuck_out_tongue:

I made a similar switch a while back, quite rare I come across somewhere that doesnā€™t take Amex now.
The problem I have the most is places accepting amex contactless but not amex apple pay. Support for that is increasing though.

Monzo have a new minimalist card design with no chip and no stripe, so you have to sign for everything :wink:
